Move your clinic forward with this

business building leadership Apr 16, 2020
Proactive clinic owners are looking for ways to move forward with their businesses right now.

And it’s those clinic owners who are helping, supporting and adding value to their clientele right now that will come out of this crisis stronger than ever.

So NOW is the time to ‘love on your patients’ in their time of need.

With the majority of your clientele in isolation or quarantine, an easy way to reach out to them is via email or SMS weekly (minimum) or twice weekly (ideal).

In your communication, be very specific with the problems that are concerning them right now!

For example:

‘Stuck at home with heel pain? Here’s help.’

‘Self-isolating with knee pain? This can help.’

‘Stuck at home with bunion pain? Try this now.’

Then include a value-packed PDF.

For example:

Create a ‘5 Step Guide’ –  a value-packed PDF that doesn’t cost you a cent.

Here’s what your PDF could include:

Step 1 – HEADLINE: speak specifically to the problem that your PDF addresses with your headline.
e.g. ‘5 Step Plan for managing heel pain when you’re stuck at home.’
(Problems being addressed are 1) their heel pain(s) and 2) they’re stuck at home).

Step 2 – SINGLE PAGE PDF: Make the PDF a single page, easy to skim (people don’t read every word) with clear images. Have a short introduction (bullet points) that describes the most common symptoms of heel pain (or whichever condition you address in your PDF).

Include links to exercise demos, retail products recommended (best if you can sell them directly).

Step 3 – INCLUDE YOUR DETAILS: Recommend at the bottom of the PDF that if their pain persists, make sure they consult with a health professional. You could offer a telehealth consult option or an in-clinic consult if your doors are still open. Provide a link or the details they need to booking the appointment.

A few extra tips:

1.     Include a P.S. at the bottom of the email inviting your patient to share the email/PDF with anyone they know who would benefit from heel pain relief tips.
2.     Segment your client list (if possible) so that you are only sending your tips on ‘heel pain’ to people who have heel pains. However, a patient without heel pain might know someone with heel pain so it can still be worth sending the ‘heel pain’ PDF to all on your list.
3.     Canva.com is a great free resource for building PDF docs. I love their ‘Infographic’ templates which will make your designing process super simple!
4.     Spend a morning or a day creating a batch of 6 PDFs for 6 conditions and set yourself up for the next 3 weeks of helping and supporting your clientele.
5.     Use the headline hook for your Social posts with a link to your free PDF – this is a great way to build your email list and prospective clients in preparation for building your business post-coronavirus.

If you’d like any feedback on PDFs you create, feel free to send them back to me, I’m happy to help you.
